Seagate lansira novu Barracuda SSD liniju - 250 GB kroz 2TB

Seagate, who are making strides in both storage density and performance of traditional HDDs with their HAMR and Multi-actuator technologies aren't going to let themselves be left dry in the SSD race. To that effect, the company, via a blog post, has just announced the introduction and availability of their barracuda SSDs, available in capacities up to 2 TB (in 250 GB, 500 GB and 1 TB additional tiers).

Kao i većina nedavnih SATA III SSD-ova, Barracuda SSD-ovi maksimaliziraju podatkovni kanal s maksimalnom sekvencijalnom brzinom čitanja i pisanja koja dosežu 540 odnosno 520 MB / s. Na ove SSD-ove postoji petogodišnje jamstvo, što je u skladu s industrijskim standardima, a Seagate traži 74,99 USD za SSD od 250 GB; 119,99 USD za jedan od 500 GB; i 229,99 USD za kapacitet od 1 TB. Model 2 TB bit će dostupan kasnije.
